Webinar: Supporting Employee Mental Health and Well-being during COVID-19
Speakers: Beth Brisky, MS, CHES and Natalie Vasilj
Learn more about Washington County’s experience and efforts promoting mental health for its employees and the larger community with an emphasis on the response to COVID-19.
Washington County has prioritized mental health for the last several years. However, these uncertain times called for expanding and increasing efforts to equip people with knowledge and tools to support their well-being and resilience.
The county has added focused conversations, a list of resources, and ongoing messaging to current strategies. We will share our work that is on the horizon for implementation with employees and the community. This presentation will raise awareness, educate, provide tools, and ideas that can be used in other communities and workplaces.
By the end of this webinar, the participants should be able to:
- Access resources to support the mental health and resilience of employees during COVID-19 (Area 1; 1.1.3)
- Increase awareness of available tools to strengthen their resilience
- Describe the importance of resilience and its relationship to mental health
- Identify at least 3 strategies for promoting resilience in a worksite setting upon completion of this webinar (Area 7; 7.1.3)
