Call for Abstracts
GASOPHE invites all public health professionals across sectors to submit abstract(s). We are seeking abstracts to be featured during the two panel discussion sessions listed above. As the theme for this conference focuses on work across the fields of education, health, transportation, or justice towards health equity, abstracts that meet at least one of the following criteria will be considered:

• Directly addresses health education or health promotion or could be applied by health educators or health promoters in their work
• Focuses on community-based initiative or program, which could include a communication effort
• Promotes health equity by addressing the social determinants of health
• Showcases innovation–something entirely new or application of an existing program in a new way
• Spans sectors or works with another sector that influences the social determinants of health
• Highlights works that is being implemented in a rural community or how it is benefiting a rural populatio

Presentation Formats:
• 15-minute oral presentation
• 10-minute pre-recorded student poster sessions
Students are encouraged to apply for either presentation format. However, only students are able to apply for poster sessions.
