Arias-Cantu receives scholarship to the 2024 ReadyMe Program

Maricela Arias-Cantu, SOPHE’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer, recently received the prestigious 2024 John H. Graham Fund ReadyMe Scholarship. This scholarship will cover the full cost of her participation in the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) ReadyMe program, a four-month leadership program culminating in a one-day capstone event in Washington, D.C.

ASAE’s ReadyMe Program is a one-of-a-kind, innovative program that provides essential (or ‘soft’) skills training and mentorship for current and future leaders. The program helps to develop a well-prepared, diverse group of leaders ready for various career opportunities, including C-Suite positions. Each program cohort lasts for four months.

Maricela’s acceptance into the program demonstrates her continuous commitment to leadership and lifelong learning. The ReadyMe program will provide invaluable opportunities to enhance her skills through online and in-person education, mentorship, and extensive networking with other leaders in their respective fields. Congratulations, Maricela!

“It is an honor to receive the John H. Graham scholarship for ASAE’s ReadyMe Program. I am looking forward to participating in this innovative leadership program, so I can build essential skills for association leadership through mentorship with other C-Suite leaders, the immersive Leadership Academy, and networking.”
